People talk most easily when they face each other and are close enough not to raise their voices. Aim for a U-shape or a square around the coffee table rather than one long line.

• Corner set: place the corner in the corner of your terrace and add a Malibu 2 Seat Sofa opposite to close the square.
• 3 Seat Sofa Set: put the sofa against a wall and arrange the other seating facing it across the coffee table.
• Larger groups: add a second Malibu Coffee Table so everyone has somewhere to put a glass.
• Walkways: leave around 60–90cm so people can get in and out without climbing over each other.

How do you light an outdoor lounge for the evening?

Layered, low lighting feels far more relaxed than one bright wall light. Combine a few sources:
